Registration as a client
After meeting with an educational adviser from CORPS ENSEIGNANT and exchanging information with them by telephone or email, the adviser from CORPS ENSEIGNANT will then create a ‘Parent Area’ on the CORPS ENSEIGNANT intranet, which will allow the client to access the functions for ordering and purchasing training services.
CORPS ENSEIGNANT sends the client an email confirming the creation of this area, and provides them with a user ID and a temporary password.
When logging in for the first time, the client is asked to fill in and complete their profile so that the client information available at CORPS ENSEIGNANT is complete.
They are also asked to read and accept the terms and conditions of sale and the privacy policy. Acceptance of these documents is a prerequisite for using the customer portal to order services.
Private tuition
Booking
When a customer submits a request for a one-to-one lesson, this is reviewed by the educational adviser at CORPS ENSEIGNANT, and a solution is proposed to the customer.
A confirmation of the lesson is sent by email to the customer, stating the tutor’s name and at least the first date of the lesson. The confirmation may relate to a single lesson, several lessons on specific dates, or one or more weekly lessons over a given period.
The client confirms, by email or another means of communication, their acceptance of the proposed schedule. If no reply is received within 24 hours, the proposal will be deemed to have been tacitly accepted.
It is common for a new client to request both registration as a client and an initial course booking at the same time. In this case, the emails confirming registration and the booking will be sent together.
Fees
Prices for services depend on the pupil’s school year and the subject taught. Clients can find out the current prices by contacting the academic adviser at CORPS ENSEIGNANT. These are subject to review on 15 September each year. A price list is available here.
Payment
Payments are due at the end of each month upon receipt of an invoice sent by email. This invoice summarises the number of hours taught by the tutor during the month. Payments must be made exclusively by bank transfer to the bank account of CORPS ENSEIGNANT.
Cancellation by the client
Cancellation of a booked lesson is only permitted under certain conditions and must remain an exceptional circumstance.
Cancellation is free of charge if notified by email to CORPS ENSEIGNANT no later than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. After this deadline, one hour’s lesson fee will be charged to the client for each cancelled lesson.
In the event of repeated cancellations, though on a case-by-case basis, CORPS ENSEIGNANT may decide to terminate the contractual relationship with the client and cease providing support services without prior notice.
Unavailability of the trainer
It may happen that, due to circumstances beyond the trainer’s control, a booked lesson has to be postponed.
In this case, CORPS ENSEIGNANT will notify the client as soon as possible and agree on a new date with them. In the event of prolonged unavailability, a change of tutor may be offered. The client shall not be entitled to claim any compensation as a result of such changes.
